'....But they knew not that I healed them'
Hosea 11:3
For one who failed his science every exam saved for one when by the grace of God, I got a distinction in my 'O' levels, let me try to explain the complex nature of nuclear power from a Shakespearean perspective.
1 plus 1 doesn't equal 2 but rather 3. This is synergy, no cousin of nuclear energy, but hopefully, it does shine some light, and not furthur blight, your understanding on the vision of fission.
Nuclear energy is derived from the release of energy stored in the nucleus of an atom through fission or transformation.
Not too sure if anyone understood this, but art is abstract, science isn't but the homo sapien is complex.
God kept it simple. He made us in His likeness, for Him to have communion with us in His kingdom.
Satan begged to differ, and the world has been on a tailspin since Adam and Eve took that first morsel of apple.
Jesus Christ has made right our relationship with God. Till His return to bring the faithful to their rightful place in God's kingdom, we are to make ourselves ready, to allow God to perfect the imperfect us.
According to research, over 300 nuclear power plants will be shut down over the next 3 decades. Decommissioning entails the removal and disposal of radioactive components and materials and the cleanup of radioactive or hazardous contamination that may remain.
What has it got to do with us??
In fact nothing unless you happened to be one of those fictional characters in DC Comics or some other publications where the artists decided to endow you with superpowers either from your being bitten by a radioactive bug or worse, he literally places you in a vat full of radioactive vibes plus whatever that is toxic for good measure, to ensure that you are transformed into a genetically altered superhero.
'His delight is in the fear of the Lord. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes. Neither reprove after the hearing of His ears..'
Isaiah 11:2-3
Adam, when he took the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge, has in one sinful bite, triggered a self-propagating spiral of continued disobedience. In splitting from the will of God, the fissures of our now flawed being has takened on a life of its own and not unlike the process of element transmutation in nuclear physics, the original God likeness of the first man, Adam is now increasingly transformed to the lowly life form of Lucifer.
I first heard about God in primary school, being privileged to have attended a Catholic mission school in my neighbourhood. Of course, I didn't radiate much joy in being literally transformed against my will, when memorising the verses in my Catechism class was the school's version of force feeding the goose(believers) and ducks(non believers), that were being readied to make foie gras.
'There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus'
Romans 8:1
To have heard about God and Jesus Christ is quite different from believing. To move from just believing to following is a desire to obey as God leads us.
But can we truly obey unequivocably??
John the Baptist baptized the believers with water. Jesus Christ baptized us all with the Holy Spirit, whom God places in all who believed till the return of Jesus Christ.
To be baptized, is to mean that our old self dies, and we take on a new self.
'Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life'
Romans 6:4
Unlike the decommissioning of nuclear power plants, which take several decades for the level of hazardous radioactivity to cease, with God, when we believed, we are decommissioned, with immediate effect, from Satan's power grid.
'There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus'
Romans 8:1
Question is, starting anew, do we now align ourselves as the Holy Spirit leads, teach and correct us as we transformed into Christlikeness or do we revert to our old sinful ways.
Do we allow the atoms of our senses to resume its dynamism driven by our own selfish understanding into uncontrolleable bouts of anger, greed, pride and every negative vibes or do we truly flow as God leads, just like the sailboat that derives its strength of momentum from the winds of God's providence.
God has forgiven us. God will make us right, but His way and timing, not ours.
'For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is He who will save us'
Isaiah 33:22
God Blesses
