Journeying with God

‘The end matters not, for Jesus walks with me’
from ‘Oi Mei’ of God’s Word for her

(Jesus gave our dear departed friend, Oi Mei the peace, in the midst of her real physical pain and emotional struggles during the last phase of her life)

The insecure, ambitious, fearful or lustful human race looks to the desired end, rather than the present provisions.

‘The grace of God is sufficient for the day’

Yet, for many of us believers, as we try to will our daily lives to God’s will, we will face many struggles.

Is God pleased with my walk??

‘The Lord has been sore displeased with your fathers’
Zechariah 1:2

The Lord says,

‘turn ye unto Me, says the Lord of hosts,
and I will turn unto you, says the Lord of hosts’
Zechariah 1:3

If God provides clear commandments, why am I still confused??

‘But My Words and My statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets’
Zechariah 1:6

We often do otherwise

‘According to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath He dealt with us.’
Zechariah 1:6

‘For where your treasure is, there will your heart also’
Mathew 6:21






My heart is right, but I still don’t feel right!!!

Is it because I am not working right or my work is not right??

‘For by grace are you saved, through faith and not of yourselves.
It is the gift of God;
Not of works, lest any man should boast’
Ephesians 2:8-9


My focus might be right but is it spiritually tight???

‘I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus’

‘I will do all things through Christ which strengthened me’

‘But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Jesus Christ’

My response to God: auto or manual???

The Word of God says :

‘….be followers….’
Philippians 3;17

As Jesus says to his disciples;

‘Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?’
Mathew 26:40

In reality, often

‘..the spirit is willing, but the body is weak’
Mathew 26:41








What then should and can we mere sinful mortals do??

Prayer and thankfulness

‘Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances….’
1 Thessalonians 5:16

‘Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful’
1 Thessalonians 4:2

‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’
Philippians 4:6-7

Obedience to God’s Word and Will

‘Those things which you have both learned, and received and heard, and seen in me, do;
and the God of peace shall be with you.’
Philippians 4:9

Focus on God always

‘Make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts’
Romans 13:14

‘Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey…’
Romans 6:16

‘For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil’
1 Timothy 6:10

‘But you , O men of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness’
1 Timothy 6:11










Let God lead you

‘Even there Your hand shall lead me. And Your right hand shall hold me’
Psalm 139:10




‘thou will show me the paths of life’
Psalm 16:11


To see God clearly, you must let God make you right

‘Search me, O God and know my heart. Try me, and know my anxieties. And see if there is any wicked way in me. And lead me to the way everlasting’
Psalm 139:23-24
