When the sculpture, wants to be the sculptor
1. Follow God, and not borrow God
Often, we tell God what we want, use His grace and leave Him on the shelf when we are done.
God wants us to let go and trust Him
‘Be still and know that I am God.’
Psalm 46:10
2. God made me, let Him mould me
For God will mould us into Christ-likeness, into the image and glory of God that we lost when Adam sinned
‘Let thy works appear unto thy servants and thy glory unto their children
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us….’
Psalm 90:16-17
3. Trusts, not lusts
‘…..My God; in Him will I trust.’
Psalm 91:21
4. Dusts is our origin, dust will be us, if we continue to stay on the margin
Use the finite time well to work on our salvation, for salvation while not worked for, must be held on to
‘The days of our years are threescore years and ten…..
So teach us to number our days
That we may apply our hearts unto wisdom’
Psalm 90:10,12
5. Align with God, means alive in God
In this dark, temporal world, peace and joy will be what God will give us
‘Because he hath set his love upon me……
I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation’
Psalm 91:14-16
So, why are we still waiting for
Signs
and
miracles???
