#79a Spanish inquistion(8mar06)

‘Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man’
John 1:51

Christians are commanded to go share the good news of the gospel, for Jesus Christ will return when the the good news of repentance and salvation is shared with all.

Would not life be easy if truly, every time the Gospel is shared, a miraculous event like that described in John 1:51 occurs to so awe every disbeliever into believing.

‘…Jesus found Philip and said to him “ Follow me”
John 1:43

Man by nature is deceitful. And by choice is judgemental or skeptical, for since Adam’s days, we chose to not let God lead, but rather, be the final arbiter of right and wrong.
In Moses time, even after witnessing 10 great

‘..God, who hath saveth us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace….’
2 Timothy 1:9

When God by His grace lifted the blindness in my heart, He allowed me to see that He was with me all this while, it just that the blinkers of the material world was on.

‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness. Make straight the cry of the Lord’
John 1:23

Yet, in my past 5 years of being blessed with the Light of God, making my paths clear, one can’t help but fathom that almost every soul is searching for that inner peace, be it an atheist, a man of faith in his or her chosen religion or even those who ascribed to several religions.

‘He was not the Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light’
John 1:8

If the harvest is indeed great, why are Christians often ranked worst than muck in the eyes of many very decent human non-believers of Christ??

“Repent or be damned!!”

An often abused watchword that many a misguided overenthusiastic Christian fling upon a many unsuspecting family members, friends or even strangers.

If you are abusive, how can the non Christian not be defensive??
As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, we are branded Christians. But we are not like the perfect Christ.

We are commanded to be desirous to live like Christ, the Light of the world, but we are not the Light.

We have no right to judge. In the 15th century, many lives were lost in the Spanish Inquisition, when self-righteous Christians took on the mantle of deciding who were heretical in their Christian faith or lack of it.

Humility and love is the experience that God wants Christians to show the watching world, how a sinful man of the world, can begin to live in this jungle, that is the world is, yet live not by its rules of anger, lusts, hatred, envy, pride and other normal.

It is how you allow God to transform you that is a living testimony of your faith and God’s grace, rather than one’s knowledge or actions to change others. We have to allow God to change ourselves.

‘If we believeth not, yet He abideth faithful….’
2 Timothy 1:13

To my many friends and whoever God places this sharing with. We can choose to ignore God, for that is our chosen right. But God will never shun us.

‘Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things’
2 Timothy 1:7

To know God, to know if He is real, you must want to come into His presence, even if it is just a small opening that you give to Him.

Jesus Christ is God incarnate, yet He loves us all with all humility

God Blesses
