#43a There is no God(16may2005)

‘The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God”
Psalm 14:1

Thankfully, for many of us, we are not fools, for we do have ‘gods’
He or she or it just comes in various shapes and materials and takes on various forms as our fertile imagination flows yonder into our creative hands.
It is we who make it.

‘..he maketh a god, and worshippeth it;
He maketh a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
…and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god’
Isaiah 44:15-17

But some will say, indeed you are an even greater fool, how can you worship your or some other men’s handiwork??

‘…shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?’
Isaiah 44:19

The self righteous will carp, ”my ‘god or gods’ cannot be sculpted by our hands, it is formulated in my mind, based on my or a higher being’s understanding.

But is this figment of imagination based on men’s understanding, the true Divine God, who made us??

The Almighty and ‘Invisible’ God says

‘..I am the first, and I am the last and beside Me there is no God’
Isaiah 44:6

Yet, men eons back and even today, still have differing visualizations of who God is, be it in graven images or be it in the tablets of their hearts and minds






But God says again,

‘Is there a God beside Me? yea there is no God, I know not any’
Isaiah 44:8

Sinful men will persist in attempting to creating‘gods’ pleasing to their lusts

‘There is a way that seemeth right unto a man but in the end they are the way of death’
Proverbs 14:12

To know the true God, we will have to want to let Him meet us in His terms, not ours

‘Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost, as your fathers did, so do ye’
Acts 7:51
