What if God is real???


‘For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.’
John 3:16


1. The only thing certain in life is death.

‘It is appointed for men to die once, but after this, the judgement’
Hebrew 9:27

For many, we tend to defer the question of what comes after, till we near the end. At the brink of entering the gate to the unknown, the only certainty is that all will stand equal of not having hindsight experience of what comes after.

Still for the pauper, the ‘nether world’ will hopefully be better than the present nothing,

For the rich, you will have to leave your earthly wealth behind to find out the truth.

For the questioning intellectual, now is the time to prove or debunk your cynicism

For the Christian, we have the confidence that Christ has and will continue to walk with us.



2. I believe, BUT IS GOD TRULY FOR REAL??

In Revelations 4:, early Christians were subjected to great persecution by the Romans. The prophet John had a vision from God to give him an insight into God and heaven, which he could share with fellow Christians as a reassurance.


‘And He who sat there was like a jaspar and a sardius stone in appearance ….

‘I am the Lord, those who hope in Me will not be disappointed’
Isaiah 49:23






3. I believe, BUT IS GOD ALL THAT POWERFUL???

In Zechariah 4: during the reign of King Darius of Persia, when the Jews were in bondage

Zechariah was given a vision of Heaven.

‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit’ says the Lord of hosts
‘Who are you, o great mountain? Before Zerubbabel, you shall become a plain’
Zechariah 4:7




4. I believe, but how do I please God???

a) Stop sinning

‘Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts’
Romans 6:12

b) Lean on God

‘Let us draw near to God, with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith…’
Hebrews 10:20


‘For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure’
Philippians 2:13

c) Trust in God

‘Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see’
Hebrews 11:1

d) Obey God

‘Do all things without complacency and disputing’
Philippians 2:14


5. What if I do not believe???


‘All who dwell on the earth will worship him(the devil), whose name have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world’
Revelations 13:8


‘Yet once more I shake not only the earth but also heaven’
Hebrews 12:26


‘And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people’

Acts 3:23
